SmallWorld is a foundation that supports the children causes around the globe, we focus on children because they don’t have a voice. Every child has the right to exist, to live in a healthy environment to grow and to participate as an active citizen in society, where children can develop and realize their full potential. We support the children of the world by providing education through rehabilitation programs, academicals education, alternative learning, we also build libraries and nurseries as well as provide computers and learning programs. We believe that children are our hope for a better future; we support their education because we understand the importance of having a skill so that they are able to live independently free from abuse. After the completion of every project we get reports, pictures and videos. In addition our team members conduct visits to the charities that we support globally.

Overview of SmallWorld

The SmallWorld initiative was launched in 2011 by Mrs. Salam Hamzeh Ghaith under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. SmallWorld aims at generating awareness about child related issues around the world and raise funds in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent to support NGOs worldwide.

SmallWorld overall Strategy

• To bring people together from all walks of life, starting with the residents of the UAE to the Middle Eastern population, reaching the world.
• To raise awareness and shed light on the cause we are supporting, not only in the UAE, but also in the region and around the globe through our ex- pat communities and embassies.

SmallWorld Objectives

• To Raise funds and support the education of children in charity organizations globally.
• To Promote the UAE in a positive light wherever SmallWorld reaches.

SmallWorld Guiding Principles

• Credibility: Throughout the past 9 years, SmallWorld has delivered grants to charities, our credibility is acquired through our proven actions.
• Transparency: Our actions are monitored by the UAE Red Crescent and our data is accessible for every concerned party and stakeholder.
• Accountability: We are accountable and take full responsibility of our actions. We bring positive change to the lives of children through supporting their education, and all we do revolves around this cause.
